CHARACTERISTICS

Metalpanel, which is familiar with the supply and value chains of our final clients, manufactures Refrigeration Insulation Panels that are fire safe, insulated with medium index PIR foam, easily processable, with high mechanical adhesion and insulation properties, as well as a technology that respects the environment by using raw materials that do not damage the ozone layer. 

Isoterm panel

The eco panel incorporates a PIR stop-fire polyisocyanurate foam that achieves BS2d0 in the SBI fire response test.

It is designed to support high outdoor and indoor differential temperature gradients. 
It incorporates a joint that achieves excellent thermal performance and does not need to accommodate sealants. 

It is available in a range of roll forms, primers and foam insulation thicknesses to meet the client’s requirements. Panel widths are 1000 and 1125 mm and thicknesses are from 40 to 240 mm.

It is designed for refrigeration, tunnel, chamber and food processing applications with an indoor temperature range of -50ºC to +60ºC.

It is hygienically safe, humidity resistant and prevents any mould or bacterial growth risk.

It has a long durability cycle of up to 30 years for its first maintenance and up to 40 years of useful life.

It can be fully recycled. The PIR foam has high calorific power and can be used as fuel for power generation in incineration plants with a steam turbine.

BENEFITS

Specifically designed to obtain optimal insulation in refrigerating chambers, dryers, clean rooms and even tunnel freezers. They offer complete watertightness, therefore providing temperature and humidity control. These characteristics make it particularly recommendable for meeting the needs of the agri-food industry.

It enables a wide range of finishes, combining 25 micron pre-lacquered finish, 100 and 200 micron plastisol finishes, galvanized sheet metal and even stainless steel.

(Continuous refrigerator panel technology with internal fastening systems)

ISOTHERM HOOK panels are an industrial development that has managed to process with the benefits of additional fastenings inside the refrigerator panel with the efficacy and diversity of continuous manufacturing processes. The result is a panel with a continuously manufactured hook that adds the competitivity and diversity of a continuous technology production to the most advantageous installation benefits.

This use of Metalpanel PATENTED technology enables structurally stronger assemblies and greater self-support in the use of refrigerator panels allocated to industrial refrigeration and freezer chambers.

The panel is made up of two outer steel sheets and a rigid foam core injected between the two roll formed sides, and with an anchor system inserted into the tongue-and-groove in a continuous manufacturing process. The system simply and quickly enables a panel to be installed with another, reinforcing their installation with a seal mechanism that is activated simply by turning the mechanism by means of a metric 8 Allen key.

HOOK ANCHOR SYSTEM

The anchor system has been designed to fasten the seal of the tongue-and-groove into horizontal and vertical joints, thereby facilitating assembly and ensuring the adjustment of the seal joint between panels.
